Earth Protector has been active for thirty years. Our interests are; environmental protection, money, health, and animal welfare.

Inspired by Marion Nestle, who is going through the Farm Bill (all 600+ pages) with her students in New York, this group aims to read, understand, and discuss the U.S. Farm Bill. Together, we can get our arms around this and advocate for policies that align agricultural and public health goals.

Buckthorn Bashers is intended to be a volunteeer organization that will help state parks and other organizations interested in habitat restoration in the area control some of the invasive tree and plant species on their land. Buckthorn, is a non-native tree and perhaps the biggest threat to our forests as it often gets so thick that it chokes out almost all the native trees that are trying to grow in the understory.
